Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a radiologic technologist specializing in mammography to join our imaging team. The role focuses on screening and diagnostic mammograms, with opportunities to cross-train to other modalities in a supportive, small-hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Current BLS Provider certification from a recognized organization.
• ARRT radiologic technologist certification is required.
• Mammography certification from ARRT is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms with attention to quality and patient comfort.
• Carry out post-biopsy procedures as needed and document findings.
• Cross-train across different imaging modalities as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with the team to support patient-centered care in a close-knit hospital setting.

What You Can Expect:

• Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 8-5:30

• Roughly 10 patients per day

• Hologic equipment

• Screening Mammograms/Diagnostic Mammograms/Post BX

• Critical Access Hospital with opportunity to cross train to different modalities. Staff pride themselves on their close-knit relationships with strong support of one another, an interdisciplinary approach to care, and environment where teamwork is essential

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

• Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree

• Licenses/Certifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

• Mammography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
