Job summary

The Baptist Health Arkansas Mammography Technologist position performs digital mammography and other specialized procedures, responds to patient needs, and provides high-quality images for interpretation.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications, Arkansas Radiology Technologist License, and CPR/BLS certification; ARRT(M) within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• ARRT Mammography certification required within one year of hire.
• Arkansas Radiology Technologist License required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs digital mammography and other specialized procedures.

Job description

The Mammography Technologist performs digital mammography and other specialized procedures, responds to patient's needs, provides quality images for interpretation, and completes proper documentation.

Other information:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Have and maintain current certification with the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists in Radiography (ARRT)(R) is required
• Have and maintain current certification with the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists in Mammography (ARRT)(M) is required within one year of hire
• Have and maintain current Arkansas Department of Health Radiology TechnologistLicense
• Must have and maintain current CPR (American Heart Association-Basic Life Supportfor Healthcare Providers)

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
