Location: Center for Breast Health in Lancaster, Pa
Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5,000.00 with a 2 year commitment. Prorated based on hours worked per week. External and internal eligible candidates only.
Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am-7pm, 1 Saturday per month, no holidays, no on-call.
Position Summary: The Mammography Breast Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the independent operation of mammographic and sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations. The Technologist is also responsible for daily operations of the patient schedule, equipment maintenance, equipment failure reporting and quality assessment. Must maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. This position requires the Technologist to be registered by ARRT to perform breast sonographic procedures. Patient care includes care to patients in the following age groups: Child 2 to 12 years, adolescent 13 to 17 years , adult 18 to 64 years , and geriatric over 64 years .
