Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform high-quality breast imaging in a busy outpatient setting. You will ensure MQSA compliance and participate in required quality control activities while delivering compassionate patient care.

Location: Swedish Redmond, Sammamish, WA. Schedule: Per-Diem, Day shift. Prior mammography experience and ARRT/ state licensure are required or in process, with on-site duties and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registry (Radiologic Technologist) required.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure required at hire.
• AHA BLS Certification required at hire.
• ARRT Radiography Certification required at hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: Mammography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographic images for breast diagnosis in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Perform MQSA quality control activities as required by MQSA and FDA.
• May use general radiography skills to perform diagnostic exams depending on location.

DescriptionThis position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography
• Dependant on location, prior general radiography experience may be required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years full-time mammography experience

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

Pay Range: $50.17 - $76.84 The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
