Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a radiologic technologist focused on mammography for our high-volume outpatient breast imaging services in Seattle. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure image quality, and interact compassionately with patients.

Qualified applicants will have ARRT registry eligibility, state licensure, BLS certification, and mammography credential within one year. Some locations may require general radiography experience.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed formal radiologic technology training meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: ARRT Radiography credential.
• Within 1 year of hire: Mammography credential.
• Depending on location, prior general radiography experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out radiological procedures for breast disease diagnosis and treatment in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with patients in a caring manner.
• Participate in quality control activities as mandated by MQSA and FDA.
• Depending on location, may utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic radiology exams.

Description

This position is required to perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting. Responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring and comforting manner. Jointly responsible for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA. Dependant on location, may be required to utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay range: $50.17 - $76.84.
