Job summary

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our imaging team on the Washington coast. The role focuses on screening and diagnostic mammography while supporting additional imaging modalities.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification (Mammography preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position patients accurately for mammographic imaging.
  • Select appropriate technical factors to produce optimal images.
  • Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
  • Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  • Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
  • Support a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork.
  • Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed.
  • Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time.

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our close-knit imaging team. If you're passionate about women's health, patient-centered care, and meaningful work, this role is for you.

Position Summary

This position is mammography-focused, with a requirement to support additional imaging modalities.

You will:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams

  • Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments

  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process

  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results

  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards

  • Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned

Key Responsibilities
