• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA requirements.

Work Location: West Houston, Texas

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, Day Shift and rotating Saturdays

Requirements:

• Texas Medical Board License - MRT
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced exam with clinical experience documentation
• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU’s every 3 years, 200 documented case numbers every 2 years
• Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred

A Day in the Life:

• Assist radiologists in mammography examinations, including breast biopsies
• Produce high-quality films for evaluation
• Educate patients on procedures and the importance of regular mammography
• Maintain patient-first focus and excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with doctors, patients, and staff
• Practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques
• Complete documentation and quality control functions
• Maintain patient privacy and comfort
