Job summary

Women's Imaging Specialists LLC in the South Atlanta area is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a full-time, daytime, in-person role. You will perform 2D and 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms, educate patients, and document findings in RIS/PACS under MQSA/ACR guidelines.

Required ARRT(R)(M) registration, state license, BLS/CPR, and 1+ year experience in mammography. The center values teamwork, patient care, and safety, with benefits and a daytime outpatient schedule.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) registered, current state license and BLS/CPR.
• 1+ year experience as Mammography Technologist performing screening & diagnostic exams.
• Strong MQSA and ACR guideline knowledge; Mammography QC/QA experience.
• Excellent patient communication; calming and supportive during exams.
• Basic PC skills for RIS/PACS and EMR navigation.
• Flexibility, teamwork and ethics in professional practice.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality 2D & 3D screening and diagnostic mammograms per MQSA/ACR.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and breast health education.
• Document patient assessment, history and risk factors in RIS/PACS.
• Execute daily, weekly and monthly QC to ensure image quality and compliance.
• Maintain a safe, clean exam room and adhere to radiation safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists and sonographers to ensure continuity of care.
• Adapt to a fast-paced outpatient center while maximizing productivity.
