Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Mammography Technologist at the A.T. Augusta Ambulatory Care Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

This full-time, outpatient position supports active-duty service members and their families, leveraging state-of-the-art imaging equipment to deliver high-quality mammography services. The role features an exceptional work/life balance with no holidays and occasional Saturdays, a collaborative team, and a commitment to patient care within a mission-driven

Qualifications

• CAHEA-accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Current ARRT Mammography certification (ARRT(M)).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical mammography experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations following established protocols.
• Operate specialized mammography equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort with compassionate, professional care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Current ARRT Mammography (ARRT(M)) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of current clinical mammography experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• U.S. Citizenship required

Competitive Total Compensation, estimated starting salary of $45/hr.
