The Mammography Technologist performs mammography examinations following ACR requirements, including screening and diagnostic procedures.

This position is based at JFK Advanced Medical Imaging of Old Bridge, a fast-paced outpatient facility.

Full-time hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm; weekends as needed.

Team size: 20 staff members and 1 Radiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on diverse patient populations.
• Operate equipment and provide immobilization devices, selecting appropriate technical factors.
• Assist with quality control procedures and documentations per regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper image labeling and documentation in EMR (EPIC).
• Modify care based on patient needs, including communication and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including tracking and reporting tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Must meet ARRT certification and licensing requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

Licenses and Certifications

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology.
• ARRT certification (M).
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire.
