Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, Georgia, invites you to join our imaging team as a Mammography Technologist. You will perform quality Mammography exams for interpretation by Radiologists and maintain current Mammography standards and competency.

Qualifications

• ARRT-M Mammography certification required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational school graduate or certificate required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Provides quality Mammography exams for interpretation by the Radiologist.
• Maintain and apply current Mammography standards and clinical competency including age competency.
• Apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problem solve.
• Quality patient care, quality control, patient documentation, record maintenance.
• Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families.
• Continue self-development, provide leadership and actively participate in offered performance improvement activities.
• Educates others as needed.
• Must have the ability to express ideas by means of the spoken word to others accurately, respectfully, loudly, and quickly.
• Visual acuity to analyze data and figures, including items seen on computer terminals and written pages.
• Reading required.
• Considers age and physical status of patients to determine staffing requirements and to plan and deliver patient care in imaging areas.
• Participates in in-services and meetings.
• Direct caregiver.
• Monitors quality of care and seeks opportunity to make improvements.
• Participates in committees as necessary.
• Demonstrates organization ability and sound judgment.
• Reflects HCA values and its ethical and compliance principles in his/her daily activities (Code of Conduct).

What qualifications you will need:
