Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Radiology Technologist to direct daily department activities and assist physicians with radiographic procedures. The role emphasizes ALARA-compliant imaging, QA/QC procedures, and maintaining radiographic equipment.

The ideal candidate will hold a completed radiography program, with ARRT and NJ licensure, plus CPR certification and CE compliance to maintain credentials. This position requires NJ licensure and state credentialing.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
• Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
• CPR certification

• Performs area specific QA/QC procedures.
• Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
• Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.
