Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in New Jersey seeks a Radiologic Technologist to direct daily department activities, oversee training, and ensure QA/QC compliance.

The role performs radiographic procedures per ALARA, assists physicians, maintains imaging equipment, and requires an accredited radiography program, at least 3 years experience, NJDEPE license, ARRT credentials in radiography and mammography, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation
• Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
• Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Facilitates employee orientation and training.
• Performs area specific QA/QC procedures.
• Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.

Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associate equipment.
