Job summary

Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to lead daily radiology operations and support physicians with procedures. The role requires ARRT certification, NJ radiology licensing, and mammography credentials, with at least three years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic studies, adhering to ALARA principles, and ensuring QA/QC and equipment maintenance to uphold patient safety and image quality.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation
• HS diploma or equivalent

Short Description

Directs daily activities within the department. Facilitates employee orientation and training. Performs area specific QA/QC procedures. Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept. Assists physicians with radiographic procedures. Perform various operations using radiographic and associated equipment. Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associate equipment.

Experience Required

Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.

Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
