Health Images at Northfield is looking for a full-time Mammography Technologist to join our team!
Position Pay Range: $35.50 - $45.80 | Experience in both screening and diagnostic imaging ideal | Schedule is open to a 3 or 4 days a week - 10 hour shifts (Tuesday and Friday mandatory) other days flexible 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
Performs routine and diagnostic exams relating to breast anatomy to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision.
This position has no supervision responsibilities.
This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
