Black Women's Mental Health Institute is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality, safe imaging services while supporting and informing patients.

The role involves performing mammography exams, reviewing image quality, operating equipment safely, ensuring patient privacy and comfort, maintaining documentation, and supporting quality control tests. A hospital setting experience is preferred with ARRT-R/ARRT-M and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• At least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience with mammography in a hospital setting.
• Certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.

Job description

Qualifications required:

a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, at least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience with mammography in a hospital setting, and certifications in ARRT-R, ARRT-M, and BLS.

Skills and qualities:

strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, knowledge of anatomy and radiation safety, and adherence to infection control standards.
