Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in New Jersey to join a patient-focused radiology team. The program includes a 40-hour mammography training course with 8 hours of digital mammography training reimbursed by RadNet, plus 8 hours of tomosynthesis training.

You will prepare for the ARRT mammography registry and aim to become a full-time technologist after certification. You will be part of a professional, compassionate team focused on safe, accurate imaging and outstanding

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies and related radiology procedures.
• Calm, compassionate, and professional patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours in digital mammography (reimbursed).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (reimbursed).
• Receive hands-on mammography training to prepare for ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time RadNet Mammography Technologist.
• Participate in projects/meetings and assist management as assigned.

You Will

• Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures.
• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on‑the‑fly should an emergent situation arise.
