Job summary

RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our radiology team in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will undergo a structured training program, including mammography basics, tomosynthesis, and ARRT registry preparation, with reimbursement for training and licensing.

Qualified applicants have a current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Valid State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Willingness to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and related procedures.
• Calm, compassionate demeanor and professional healthcare delivery.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (RadNet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (RadNet will reimburse you).
• Hands-on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguards any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
