Job summary
RadNet is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee in Santa Ana, CA. This role includes completing a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training, and 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training, with reimbursements provided.
The program prepares you for the ARRT mammography registry, licensing exam, and potential transition to a full-time mammography technologist. A sign-on bonus is offered and other benefits are available.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- BLS certification required through American Heart Association.
- Ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis and biopsies.
Responsibilities
- Complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet will reimburse).
- Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet will reimburse).
- Receive hands-on mammography training in preparation for ARRT mammography registry.
- Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet upon certification.
- Participate in projects/meetings and assist management as needed.
- Safely handle onsite medications and protect patient information according to policy.
