Radiology Forward is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee to join our team and complete the required training to become a licensed mammography technologist with RadNet support.

You will receive hands‑on training, participate in projects, and advance to full‑time status upon certification, while safeguarding patient information and maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures (Tomosynthesis, biopsies).
• Resilient, adaptable and compassionate with a calm, friendly demeanor.
• Quick thinking and ability to act in emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40‑hour Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8 hours of digital mammography training (RadNet reimburses).
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training (RadNet reimburses).
• Hands‑on mammography training in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet after certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications per policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property and patient information.

You Will:

• Complete a 40‑hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8‑hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8‑hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.

• Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience.
• Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on the fly should an emergent situation arise.

Pay Range:

$26.00 – $32.00 per hour
