RadNet in Bowie, MD is seeking a Mammography Technologist Trainee who will complete a 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours digital mammography, plus 8 hours Tomosynthesis training, with reimbursement. You will gain hands-on mammography experience and prepare for the ARRT mammography registry.

Upon certification, you will become a full-time mammography technologist and contribute to patient care. The role emphasizes quality care, teamwork, and adherence to safety and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Keen interest and ability to learn Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and advanced radiology procedures.
• Calm, compassionate demeanor; professional healthcare delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40-hour Mammography Training Course with 8 hours of digital mammography training reimbursed by RadNet.
• Complete 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training reimbursed by RadNet.
• Receive hands-on mammography training in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Progress to a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet after certification.
• Participate in projects/meetings and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard onsite medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; protect patient privacy and sensitive information.

You Will

• Complete a 40‑hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8‑hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Complete 8‑hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you).
• Be provided hands‑on training in mammography in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
• Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam.
• Become a full‑time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified.
• Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Safeguard any onsite medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information onsite or on patient portals.
• Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

• A current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
