Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Mammo Tech for a PRN, part-time role in Mishawaka, IN. This position requires an 8‑hour shift with 0.0 FTE PRN status and current mammography certification.

Responsibilities include operating mammography equipment, proper patient positioning, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. Must be registered radiographer in Indiana with ARRT Mammography eligibility or certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; mammography experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registration and Indiana Radiographer license.
• ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or eligible within 60 days of hire.

Mammo Tech - PRN

Location: Mishawaka, IN

Schedule: 0.0FTE PRN- 8 hour shift Must be registered Mammographer.

About the Role

Operates mammography equipment to obtain high‑quality mammographic images in accordance with ACR guidelines and departmental protocols. Independently performs patient positioning, image acquisition, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal diagnostic results. Works collaboratively with radiologists by assisting with examinations, including sterile procedures and other clinical support tasks as needed.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• One year of mammography experience preferred.

Licensure & Certification

• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Licensed Radiographer in the State of Indiana.
• Holds the ARRT advanced certification in Mammography or has completed an approved mammography training course and will obtain the ARRT advanced certificate within 60 days of hire.
