Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a radiologic technologist with mammography expertise to perform stereotactic biopsy and related QC procedures. The role includes managing all mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, with a high degree of autonomy and supervision as needed.

Candidates should be ARRT-registered in Radiography and Mammography, hold a current BLS certification, and be committed to maintaining the highest safety and image quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registered in Radiography and Mammography (RT(R)(M)).
• Qualified for stereotactic procedures and QC in mammography.
• Maintain American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform stereotactic biopsy and related QC in mammography.
• Operate all mammography studies including needle localization and ductograms.
• Work with autonomy and indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT).
• Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. (BLS)
