Qualifications

Minimum Education: As required by certification and/or licensure.
Preferred Education: Associate Degree.
Minimum Experience: 1 - 2 years.
Preferred Experience: 3 - 4 years.
Required License: Mammographic Radiologic Technology.
Preferred License: ARRT(R).
Required Certification: Certified Radiologic Technologist CRT(R).
Preferred Certification: Not Applicable.

Responsibilities

Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures within FDA and MQSA and CA requirements.
Responsible for equipment quality control test documentation.
May rotate through Bone DEXA services as needed.
Assist physicians, interpret orders and explain procedures to staff and patients.
In absence of the Program Manager, may serve in a leadership role.
Follows department operations and supports non-technical staff with paperwork.
Ability to operate in a digital imaging environment and maintain records.
Complies with Palomar Health policies and standards.
