Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Michigan is seeking a Mammography Tech for a 40-hour Day shift. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform radiologic breast imaging to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by a physician, following department protocols and safety standards.

The role requires ARRT Mammography registry (M) or registry-eligible status, with registry to be obtained within 12 months of hire, and ongoing CE as mandated by MQSA and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ARRT registration and advanced Mammography registry (M) or registry-eligible; if registry-eligible, must obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education (CME).
• Must meet MQSA criteria and other regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiologic breast imaging procedures as ordered by a physician.
• Determines appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
