Job summary

Fairfax Radiology Centers in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking a Mammographer/DXA/X-Ray Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, evenings, or on-call, supporting a healthy work-life balance and high-quality patient care.

The technologist will perform mammography, DXA, and diagnostic X-ray exams, maintain safety standards, and contribute to efficient patient flow across sites.

Qualifications

• New grad X-Ray Techs welcome.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Active Virginia RT license.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray, Mammography exams (screening and diagnostic), and DXA scans with accuracy and professionalism.
• Deliver a high-quality, patient-centered imaging experience.
• Adapt quickly to different teams, workflows, and environments.
• Maintain imaging quality and safety standards across all sites.
• Support clinical teams to ensure efficient patient flow.

Compensation

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$39.10 - $52.90
