Qualifications

• Graduate from a radiologic technology training program is required.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Must meet the standards of the Mammography Quality Standards Act.
• Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and patient communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality mammograms with proper positioning and compression.
• Prepare exam rooms, ensure availability of supplies, and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist radiologists and explain procedures to patients, addressing concerns.
• Perform quality control and document results accurately.
• Develop films consistently, maintain darkroom integrity, and participate in regulatory inspections.
• Train new employees and students, supporting team development.
