Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates all mammography units independently and performs screening, diagnostic, and special imaging exams.
• Produces quality images through proper positioning, compression, and selecting appropriate factors.
• Prepares exam rooms and assists radiologists during procedures.
• Prepares patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Ensures equipment functionality, reports malfunctions, and maintains quality control standards.
• Documents results, develops films consistently, and maintains darkroom integrity.
• Participates in training of students and new staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper documentation of manuals, supporting annual inspections.
