Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and mammographic procedures. You will maintain records, participate in training, and support quality care within a patient-centered radiology team.

The role requires CT licensure eligibility and ARRT (R)(M). On-site work with health system benefits and opportunities for professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years experience as RT; mammography experience preferred.
• State of CT Licensure. ARRT (R) (M).

Responsibilities

• Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Performs radiographs in a prompt and professional manner as observed by supervisor and staff and patient feedback.
• Performs all mammographic procedures, OC tests and maintains accurate records according to ACR guidelines.
• Reviews necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Reviews radiologic consults for information or special instructions.
• Performs preventative inspections for radiographic room/equipment.
• Participates in training and development of staff and radiology students.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and adaptability within the department.
• Accurately enters patient information and charges for procedures.
