Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals Harlem is seeking a Mammography Radiologist through the Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). The role focuses on interpreting breast tomosynthesis, 2D mammography, MRI, and ultrasound, plus performing targeted biopsies and needle localizations.

The position includes teaching radiology residents, giving monthly lectures, and participating in PI activities within the Mammography Section. Board certification and fellowship in Breast Imaging are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State physician license.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging/Mammography Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Interpret breast tomosynthesis and 2D mammography.
• Interpretation of breast MRI and sonography.
• Perform ultrasound-guided, MRI-guided, and stereotactic breast biopsies.
• Perform needle localization procedures for surgical guidance.
• Teach and evaluate residents rotating in mammography.

• Actively participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities within the Mammography Section.

Wages and Benefits include:

AnnualBase Salary: $468,750* (board eligible); $520,250* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $544,750** (board eligible) and $596,250** (board certified),which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• Projected bonus of up to $40,000(based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employeesareimmediatelyvested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match isrequired.
