Job summary

Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Mammography to support the Breast Health Center. The position is full-time, day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with a 32-hour pay period.

Under the direction of the Section Leader, Mammography/Ultrasound, you will ensure compliance with Massachusetts, FDA, and American College of Radiology regulations and may perform duties in the Section Leader's absence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 3–5 years radiologic technology experience with mammography.
• Current ARRT RT(M) certification and MA Radiologic Technologist license.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in PACS/EHR systems (HIS/RIS).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Breast Health Center complies with MA, FDA, and ACR regulations.
• Perform duties of Section Leader in his/her absence.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate patient records.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Section Leader, Mammography/Ultrasound, ensures that the Emerson Breast Health Center and other campuses comply with all regulations as mandated by the State of Massachusetts, FDA, and American College of Radiology. Performs some of the duties of the Section Leader in his/her absence.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Experience Three to five years of radiologic technology experience with three to five years of mammography experience required. Prior Quality Control experience preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification; Current registration as R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT) required. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist/Mammography Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required. BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills: Must havestrong communication skills required. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have strong teaching, organizational, administrative, and leadership skills. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
