Job summary

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist Lead to join our Imaging Team. The role covers multiple modalities including X-ray, CT and DXA, with emphasis on quality exams and patient education.

You will work under supervision of the Imaging Manager and Medical Director to ensure regulatory compliance and safety. The ideal candidate has ARRT mammography registration, BLS, and 3–5 years of radiologic experience with MQSA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma and completed an accredited radiologic tech program.
• Registered radiologic technologist with mammography required (ARRT).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality exams across X-ray, CT, DXA, fluoroscopy; apply radiation protection and protocols.
• Maintain patient records, navigate PACS, document exams accurately.
• Participate in departmental QA and preventive maintenance activities.
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, and standard precautions.
• Provide education and supervision to radiologic technologist students.
• Perform administrative duties at front desk as needed by the department.
• Maintain mammography QC and MQSA compliance; support audits.
• Prepare and administer contrast media via IV or other routes.
