Job summary

Sharp Rees-Stealy Santee is seeking an Imaging Specialist I in Mammography for the evening shift. The role supports daily department operations, performs mammography procedures, and assists radiologists while maintaining patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Requires AMA-approved radiologic tech training, CA CRT, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have 1 year of mammography experience and ARRT credentials, with strong attention to accuracy and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Must complete AMA approved radiologic technology program and meet CA state/federal certification.
• CRT certification by CA Department of Public Health required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Professionals required.
• Preferred: 1 year of Mammography experience.
• Preferred: ARRT Mammography certification.
• Preferred: ARRT certificate and fluoroscopy permit.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day department activities under supervision.
• Perform wide range of radiologic procedures with quality patient care.
• Assist physicians as needed and ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Maintain and QC imaging equipment and documentation.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care.
