Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.
• IV certification, contrast credentialed, if applicable.
• Knowledge: BLS certified; proficiency in radiology protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiologic exams following protocols.
• Operate radiology equipment and ensure proper exposure and image quality.
• Maintain ALARA radiation safety and sterile technique.
• Register and manage orders in Cerner/Meditech; verify patient data.
• Transmit images to PACS and assist with patient transport.
• Provide patient care, education and maintain confidentiality.
