Job summary

Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is seeking a Radiologic technologist specializing in mammography to deliver high-quality imaging and patient care. You will apply x-ray energy to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation while maintaining radiation safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, hold a Florida state license, ARRT certification, and CME credits; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must have CME points as mandated by MQSA.
• Valid Florida state license.
• Valid Radiology registry (ARRT) certification.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits professional judgment in performance of radiology services.
• Complies with FDA/MQSA regulatory requirements.
• Adheres to Orlando Health mission and standards.
• Assesses patient condition and age-specific needs.
• Provides instructions to achieve patient cooperation and results.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality mammography images.
• Ensures MQSA/ACR guidelines are followed in imaging and documentation.
• Applies radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
