Job summary

Orlando Health Sebastian River Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and related procedures while adhering to safety standards. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Florida ARRT/CT or NMTCB credentials, current BLS certification, and active licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
• Active Florida Radiologic Technologist licensure (or ARRT/CT or NMTCB) required.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Exercises professional judgment in performance of imaging procedures and maintains a patient-centered demeanor.
• Delivers high-quality imaging and ensures accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Operates radiology equipment and assists in quality control tasks.
• Supervises students and trains new technologists as needed.
