Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography exams, screenings and diagnostic studies across Frankford, Torresdale, and Bucks sites. You will deliver patient care and education before, during and after imaging procedures under physician guidance.

The role requires specialized radiology training, ARRT Radiology (R) certification, and BLS/AHA credentials, with travel between Jefferson campuses as needed.

Qualifications

• Specialized Radiology education and ARRT Radiology (R) certification.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Digital Mammography training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammography equipment and perform screening and diagnostic exams.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and compression for quality imaging.
• Protect patients and staff following radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures and maintain patient records.
• Assist during invasive procedures under physician direction.
