Job summary

Atlantic Health in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate X-ray equipment and assist physicians in imaging procedures. You will review prior reports, document exams, and ensure specimens are properly labeled for pathology when needed.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, explaining procedures, adjusting exposure factors, and applying radiation protection to minimize risk. Preference for mammography experience and ARRT Mammography certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in an accredited RT program or related field.
• New Jersey DEP license.
• ARRT Radiography Certification.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and adjust immobilization to obtain optimal views.
• Explain procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Position equipment and set exposure factors based on protocol.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Operate mobile X-ray equipment in OR/ER/bedside.
• Specialize in screening and diagnostic mammography imaging.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
