Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment including X-Ray, Mammography and Bone Density.
• Performs examinations with high quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Reviews requisitions and determines room setup and radiation exposure.
• Evaluates diagnostic films to ensure quality and repeats as necessary.
• Performs quality control on imaging equipment to meet standards.
• Trains employees and students in day-to-day procedures.
• Collaborates with other departments to coordinate patient scheduling and access.
• Demonstrates proficiency with RIS, CIS, PACS and related systems.
• Participates in continuing education as required.
