Qualifications

• Formal training in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registry or Registry-eligible with ARRT.
• Maintains ARRT Mammography certification.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, pathology and physiology.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in room preparedness and equipment setup.
• Assists Radiologist in interventional breast procedures.
• Communicates with patients and physicians about appointments and delays.
• Produces images meeting quality standards per departmental protocols.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
