Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Responsibilities

• Assists in room preparedness, i.e. cleaning rooms and supply placement, to include ultrasound rooms.
• Assists Radiologist in the performance of interventional breast procedures.
• Informs patients and referring physicians of appointment delays.
• Produces high-quality breast images meeting department standards.
• Maintains RIS/EPIC/PACS knowledge for efficient workflows.
• Maintains licensure/registry status as required by state.
• Maintains logs and documentation per protocol.
• Protects patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Supports student training in the area.
• Ensures productivity standards are met.
