The role you’ll contribute:
Under general supervision, the Mammography Technologist II performs duties directly involved with mammography (screening and diagnostic mammography) and a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. This position is responsible for performing needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and seed implant (if available on site). The Mammography Technologist II regulates the equipment used to expose the imaging receptor; processes and organizes images. Additionally, this position operates equipment safely and maintains As Low as Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) standards while performing mammography and other types of radiological procedures.
