Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, invites you to join a prominent Connecticut outpatient imaging team. You will perform mammography and related imaging with precise technique, manage imaging systems, and maintain stringent safety standards in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

We value experienced radiologic technologists with ARRT and state MRT licensure, mammography certification, CPR/AED, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Certification by ARRT in radiology is required.
• State MR.T. (M.R.T.) licensure is required.
• Mammography certification and CPR/AED certification are required.
• Two years of general diagnostic radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography (and X-ray/fluoro as applicable) with proper technique and positioning.
• Verifies patient identification and reviews orders, documenting history per ACR standards.
• Operates imaging systems (RIS/PACS) and ensures image quality and correct labeling.
• Maintains radiation safety practices, ALARA principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Delivers professional patient care while coordinating workflow and supplies with other modalities.
