Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis is seeking a qualified radiologic technologist with mammography expertise to perform diagnostic radiography and specialized breast procedures under physician direction. This role requires attention to QA-QC and patient care across all ages.

Required ARRT certification (R, M) and a radiologic technology degree; two years of mammography experience is preferred, with a potential sign-on bonus based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• 2 years in diagnostic mammography radiography.
• ARRT (R, M) certification and state license if required.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Assists practitioner with percutaneous localizations and aspirations of the breast.
• Optimizes mammography procedures by completing QA-QC protocols.
• Perform bone density procedures as needed.

Job Summary

Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus Based on Eligibility

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Is multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography. Will also perform procedures in Bone Density. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
