Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking a Malnutrition Informatics Specialist RD to lead our malnutrition program across hospitals in the assigned region. This role focuses on program development, accuracy of patient identification, nutrition interventions, and billing processes to drive quality improvement.

You will analyze program data, track KPIs, mentor RDs and CNMs, and provide education to healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian with CDR and licensed per state requirements.
5+ years of clinical nutrition experience.
Expert knowledge of malnutrition and NFPE per ASPEN guidelines.
Strong data collection and analysis skills using Excel.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the hospital malnutrition program in the assigned area.
Track KPIs to assess the program's impact on patient outcomes and malnutrition recognition.
Analyze monthly site-specific data and monitor trends in diagnoses and outcomes.
Provide training and mentorship to RDs and CNMs, ensuring best practices.
Build relationships with physicians, nursing staff, RDs, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure staff are knowledgeable about current malnutrition guidelines and ASPEN standards.
Support regulatory compliance and documentation across sites.
