Job summary

Macerich is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to create and edit short-form video content for assigned properties, focusing on TikTok and Instagram Reels to boost brand awareness and foot traffic. You’ll film on-site activations, publish in real time, and collaborate with the on-site marketing team to amplify center experiences.

This is a 6-month initial term with potential to extend. It’s a part-time, on-site role at McLean, VA, roughly 24–29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated content creation ability with a strong engagement history.
• Ability to adapt content to TikTok and Instagram formats.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the brand.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form video (TikTok/IG Reels) for on-site activations.
• Publish content in real time during events to maximize reach.
• Maintain a minimum daily posting cadence across platforms (Stories and feed posts).
• Coordinate with Marketing Manager and tenants to amplify center experiences.
