Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Mall Security Officer in Hackensack, NJ. The role requires a driver’s license, SORA (or willingness to obtain), and a high school diploma.

The position is a mornings shift with Friday-Tuesday 10am-6pm, offering a competitive pay rate and benefits. The officer will patrol the mall, secure entries, respond to alarms, provide guest assistance, and file daily activity reports.

Qualifications

• Good customer service orientation and clear communication.
• Ability to respond quickly and professionally to incidents.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• SORA license or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises on foot and in vehicle to maintain order and presence.
• Secure exits, doors and windows after operations.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing situations.
• Provide assistance and customer service to guests.

Pay rate: $18.00

Job Duties

• Patrol premises on foot and/or in Securitas Vehicle regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance and customer service to guest in need
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
• Responsible for detection any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, or other criminal behavior.

Requirements

• Valid SORA licenseor willing to obtain
• Must possess of a Valid Driver’s Licensewith a clean MVR
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years or older
• Strong customer serviceand communication skills are required
• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and flexible
• Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays
• Fluent in English language(reading, writing and speaking)
