Job summary

American Dream is seeking a full-time Patrol Officer to patrol the property and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests, tenants and staff. The role emphasizes rapid response to emergencies, incident reporting and strong customer service.

Candidates must complete a 120-hour training, hold NJ SORA Certification, and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. The job includes physical duties and ongoing safety responsibilities across multiple areas of the mall.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer relations and guest service skills.
• Completion of a rigorous 120-hour in-house training program; non-completion may affect employment.
• Must carry CEW and complete required exposure.
• Successful completion of 8-12 week field training program.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and follow directions.
• Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must hold NJ Security Officer Registration Act Certification and be eligible for NJ licensure.

Responsibilities

• Patrol mall property by vehicle or on foot to deter misconduct.
• Provide directions and assist guests or tenants as needed.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents or life-threatening situations.
• Prepare detailed incident/accident reports.
• Coordinate with police, fire or EMS as required.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and manage safety inspections.
