Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct routine patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating with site management and Allied Universal leadership.
