Qualifications

• At least three years of direct experience in commercial building operations and maintenance.
• High school diploma with technical school certification in a relevant maintenance trade.
• Knowledge of commercial electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC familiarity preferred.
• Ability to perform general maintenance including carpentry, painting, and locksmithing.
• Commitment to safety and environmental requirements, OSHA and EPA relevant to work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Current state-issued driver’s license for assigned driving duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, doors, and fixtures.
• Assist licensed contractors and vendors with scheduled maintenance and communicate status to facilities team.
• Complete preventive maintenance and inspections of building systems and HVAC support tasks.
• Maintain accurate work orders and records in the maintenance system.
• Prepare maintenance reports and communicate repairs and supply needs to supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with facilities, operations, and tenants to minimize disruption to guests and businesses.
• Operate tools and maintain safety procedures; drive company vehicles as assigned.
• Refer restricted work to licensed contractors when required.
• Respond to maintenance requests and keep work areas orderly.
